PoE Over Coax concept and creation came to fruition in 2005 when Enable-IT adapted it’s PoE Extender technology for transport over Coaxial wiring and made the 1st PoE Over Coax Extender, PoE Ethernet Extender over Coax or PoE Over Coax Adapter. The coax PoE extender allows you to run a Power Over Ethernet connection over existing coaxial cable with no modification required. This is a perfect solution for a broad range of applications, including connecting isolated user stations from the same or separate building or overcoming infrastructure obstacles and distances (e.g. older stone/concrete architecture) where new wiring or wireless connectivity may be impossible. The gigabit PoE over Coaxial cabling allows you to span a 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet network over long distances with Encrypted and Secure Communications up to 4,000ft / 1.2Km

I just stopped in to give my 2 cents, literally its all I have, to tell y’all about the enabler that I used from the gents that create these fine, dandy products over at Enable-IT. I spoke to a fine, young lass who guided me through your website there to acquire the 860 PRO Ethernet extender product. She was very helpful and spoke ever so softly and slowly so that I may understand (getting a little hard of hearing these days). After making my purchase and receiving the gear delivered right to my farm, I called back and they were kind enough to walk me through, step-by-step, to hook up my enablers to my security camera over in the barn.
"We are the world’s largest producer of wood fence boards and situated in remote areas of the upper Northwest forests. As a result, having a high-speed internet connection can be quite the dilemma. The Enable-IT 860 PRO product allows us to produce the smallest form of lumber directly from the log. Without the long outreach and extreme throughput of their products, we would not be able to conduct our business and run our machines as fluidly and precisely as we do now.
