In today’s world, the internet and Ethernet technologies have become a crucial part of our daily lives. They are used for communication, entertainment, and work. However, not all environments are suitable for these technologies. For instance, in outdoor settings, the internet and Ethernet devices are prone to damage from water, dust, and other environmental factors. Fortunately, Waterproof IP68 Rated Ethernet & Extensores PoE have emerged as a solution to this problem.
What Are Waterproof IP68 Rated Ethernet & PoE Extenders?
Waterproof IP68 Rated Ethernet & PoE Extenders are devices designed to extend the Ethernet and PoE (Power over Ethernet) signals over long distances in harsh environments. These devices can withstand water, dust, and other environmental factors due to their IP68 rating. The IP68 rating means that the devices are completely sealed, preventing any dust or water from entering the device. Moreover, the devices are designed to work in extreme temperatures, making them ideal for outdoor use.

- Drives Gigabit Ethernet up to 4,100ft / 1,250m away – TWELVE times further than the IEEE 802.3 specifications for Ethernet LAN limits of just 328 feet. Waterproof IP68 rated 4-Port Gigabit LAN Switch on each end.
- Includes a High Power Gigabit 56V – 61W PoE injector. Requires only (1) single power source.
- Our Enable-IT™ 828WP 3-port Waterproof IP68 Rated Gigabit PoE Extender Kit is a complete solution that drives incremental Gigabit Ethernet up to 240m or 800ft and can be deployed with up to 3 828W units in a series to reach 2,000ft (600m) at blazing fast Gigabit full wire speed. Both 2-pair and 4-pair PoE output is standard to support your high powered PoE Devices.
- This professional grade Waterproof solution is ideal for putting your PoE devices where you need them and not where you are limited to by IEEE Ethernet distance restrictions.
Why are Waterproof IP68 Rated Ethernet & PoE Extenders Important?
Waterproof IP68 Rated Ethernet & PoE Extenders play a crucial role for several reasons:
- They enable the use of internet and Ethernet devices in outdoor environments, granting people access to these technologies while being outside. This is particularly beneficial for businesses operating in outdoor settings like construction sites, mines, and farms, as it enhances their operations.
These extenders have the capability to extend Ethernet and PoE signals over long distances. This extends internet and Ethernet accessibility to remote areas that are beyond the reach of traditional technologies. For instance, individuals residing in rural areas can now enjoy internet connectivity and utilize Ethernet devices using these extenders.
Waterproof IP68 Rated Ethernet & PoE Extenders offer cost-effectiveness. They eliminate the need for separate power cables, simplifying installation and management processes. Additionally, these devices are engineered to withstand extreme temperatures, reducing the requirements for maintenance and replacements.
