Q: Are Enable-IT products TAA-compliant?
Yes. Enable-IT Ethernet Extenders and PoE Extenders are designed and manufactured in the United States, which is a designated country under the Trade Agreements Act. TAA compliance is inherent to the product — no waiver, exception, or end-product determination is required. Enable-IT will provide a written TAA compliance letter for inclusion in your contract file upon request.
Q: Does Enable-IT have a GSA Schedule contract number?
Yes. Enable-IT holds a GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract. Products are listed on GSA Advantage at gsaadvantage.gov. Contact Enable-IT at (888) 309-0910 to obtain the current contract number for inclusion in your purchase order, or to request a GSA-priced quote with contract reference.
Q: Can Enable-IT extenders be used on classified or SIPRNet-connected networks?
Enable-IT Ethernet and PoE Extenders are passive Ethernet extension devices — they carry the signal present on the connected network without processing, storing, or modifying data content. They do not introduce additional classification-relevant network nodes. Whether a specific extender model is suitable for a classified network segment is a determination made by the Authorizing Official (AO) and network security personnel in the context of the system’s RMF authorization package. Enable-IT provides technical specifications and configuration documentation to support that determination. Select models include built-in AES link encryption between local and remote units as a supplementary control.
Q: Does Enable-IT support NDAA Section 889 supply chain requirements?
Yes. Enable-IT products are 100% designed and manufactured in the United States. No components from entities identified in NDAA Section 889(f)(3) — including Huawei, ZTE, Hytera, Hikvision, Dahua, and their subsidiaries — are used in Enable-IT products. Enable-IT will provide a Section 889 representation letter for contract compliance documentation upon request.
